Duringbreaktime,Mikecouldn’thelpbutlaughwhenhecaughtsightofhisnewdeskmate.Sara’sdistinctivehairstyleseemedlikeanopeninvitationforhimtomakefunofher.LeaningintowardsSara,heplayfullysuggested,“Hey,Sara.EverthoughtaboutchangingyournametoDora?YoulookjustlikeDoratheExplorer!”Hiswordscausedlaughterandcheersfromtheothersintheclassroom.

Sara’seyesfilledwithtears,hercheeksturningredwithembarrassment.Feelinghurtandupset,shestoodupsuddenly,rushingtotheteacher’sofficetoseeksupportfromMr.Stone.Afterhearingherstory,Mr.Stoneofferedhergentlefort,saying,“Sara,yourhairstyleistrulypretty.Remember,everyonehastheirownsenseofbeauty.”
