[Abstract]ObjectiveToexploretheeffectofimprovedoperatingroomnursingonvitrectomypatientswithdiabeticretinopathybasedonchangetheory.MethodsAtotalof100patientswithdiabeticretinopathywhounderwentvitrectomyinAffiliatedEyeHospitalofNanchangUniversityfromJanuarytoDecember2023wereselectedasstudyobjects.FiftypatientsadmittedfromJanuarytoJune2023wereincludedincontrolgroupandreceivedroutinenursinginoperatingroomaftervitrectomy，andfiftypatientsadmittedfromJulytoDecember2023wereincludedinexperimentalgrouptoreceiveimprovedoperatingroomnursingbasedonchangetheory.Operationtime，postoperativeintraocularpressure，operativestressindex，complicationsandnursingsatisfactionwerecomparedbetweentwogroups.ResultsTheoperationtimeofexperimentalgroupwassignificantlyshorterthanthatofcontrolgroup，andthepostoperativeintraocularpressurewassignificantlylowerthanthatofcontrolgroup（Plt;0.05）.Attheendofoperation，heartrate，meanarterialpressureandmixedvenousbloodoxygensaturationoftwogroupsweresignificantlyhigherthanthosebeforeoperation（Plt;0.05），heartrateandmeanarterialpressureofexperimentalgroupweresignificantlylowerthanthoseofcontrolgroup，andmixedvenousbloodoxygensaturationwassignificantlyhigherthanthatofcontrolgroup（Plt;0.05）.Thecomplicationrateofexperimentalgroupwassignificantlylowerthanthatofcontrolgroup（Plt;0.05）.Thenursingsatisfactionscoreofexperimentalgroupwassignificantlyhigherthanthatofcontrolgroup（Plt;0.05）.ConclusionTheapplicationofimprovedoperatingroomnursingbasedonchangetheorytovitrectomypatientswithdiabeticretinopathycanshortentheoperationtime，reducethestressofsu
