AbstractObjective:Toclarifytheconceptualconnotationofhospicecarebysummarizingitsconceptualdevelopment,definingattributes,

distinguishingconcepts,predisposingfactors,postdisposingimpactandevaluationtools.Methods:Literaturerelatedtotheconceptofhospice

carewasretrievedfromCNKI,Wanfangdatabase,VIPdatabase,ChinaBiomedicalLiteratureServiceSystem,PubMed,PsycINFO,

CINAHLdatabase.AndretrievaltimewasfromdatabaseestablishmenttoNovember30,2023.WalkerandAvantconceptualanalysis

wereusedtoanalyzeliterature.Results:Atotalof36literaturewereincluded.Hospicecareincluded5definingattributes,namelytreating

terminallyillpatientsandtheirfamiliesasawhole,basedonindividualpreferencesandvaluesofpatients,aimingtoimprovequalityoflife

andcomfort,multi‐disciplinarycooperation,effectivecommunicationanddecision‐makingassistance.Itspredisposingfactorsincluded

end‐stagedisease,preferencesandneedsofpatientsandtheirfamilies,institutionalhardwareandsoftwareconfigurationandsocial

resourcesupport.Itspostdisposingimpactincludedimprovementofthequalityoflifeofpatientsandtheirfamilies,reductionofineffective

medicalusebeforetheendoflife,optimizationofmedicalresourcesallocation,andsavingsinmedicalandhealthexpenditures.Conclusions:

Theconceptofhospicecareisnotyetunified.Inthefuture,theconnotationofh
