亚历克斯出生在加利福尼亚，小时候对气味着迷，曾在操场上

追逐女孩，只为闻她们那令人垂涎的洗发水香味。渐渐地，他

对香水产生了浓厚的兴趣，并开始收集香水瓶。

在医学学习期间，亚历克斯意识到香水的感染力可以作为一

种情感疗法。调香术将使他能够在帮助他人的同时追求自己

的兴趣。

在与一位调香科学家会面后，他决定前往格拉斯，这个调香业

的发源地，是了解天然原料的理想之地。

2007年，亚历克斯离开加利福尼亚前往里昂学习法语。

2008年初，他被格拉斯香水学院录取。在格拉斯的几家香水

公司担任调香助理后，他被ISIPCA录取。

他在毕业时被选中进入MANE的香水学校接受培训。他首先在

位于巴尔苏卢普的全球总部开始培训，并在加入巴黎的

MANE团队之前，在曼哈顿办公室度过了整整一年。

2013年，亚历克斯赢得了年轻调香师比赛“Esxence的香

气‑五年的卓越成就”。

BorninCalifornia,Alexwasfascinatedbyscentsasa

child,chasinggirlsontheplaygroundtosmelltheir

deliciouslyshampooedhair.Progressively,hedeveloped

apassionforfragrancesandbegantocollectperfume

bottles.

Duringhisstudiesforacareerinmedicine,Alexrealized

thattheevocativenatureofperfumeservedasaform

ofemotionalmedicine.Perfumerywouldallowhimto

follow

hisdreamsofhelpingotherswhileindulginghispassion.

Afterameetingwithascientistinperfumery,hedecided

togotoGrasse,thebirthplaceofperfumery,theideal

placetogettoknownaturalrawmaterials.

AlexleftCaliforniain2007tostudyFrenchinLyon.

Inthebeginningof2008,hewasadmittedintheGrasse

InstituteofPerfumery.Afterseveralstintsasaperfumer’s

assistantinGrassefragrancehouses,hewasaccepted

atIsipca.

HewaschosenuponhisgraduationtotraininMANE’s

PerfumerySchool.Hebeganhistrainingattheglobal

headquartersinBar-sur-Loupandspentayearinthe

ManhattanofficepriortojoiningtheMANEteaminParis.

In2013,Alexwasthewinneroftheyoungperfumer

competitionTheScentofEsxence-5Yearsof

Excellence
