Abstract

Theconceptofemotionaldesignhaslongexisted.However,currentstudiesallfocusontheemo-

tionaldesignofGUI.Infact,asthemostnaturalwayofinteractionforhumanbeings,speechinte-

ractionfocusesmoreonemotioninpsychologicalappeal,becausepeoplesubconsciouslyperceive

thattalkingrobotshavelifeandemotion.Youcanjustimaginewhencommunicatingwithother

people,humanbeingscanjudgetheattitudeoftheotherpeoplethroughtheirtones,expressions,

andemotion;itisextremelydifficulttosolvecomplicatedproblemsofthoughtsandfeelingstotal-

lywithtechnology.Interactiondesignshouldeffectivelybridgethegapbetweentechnicalsystem

modelsandusermentalmodelsandcanevenmakeupforthedeficienciesoftechnologywhenit

encountersdifficultiessothatman-machineinteractioncanbringbetteremotionalexperience.

Firstly,thispaperintroducesthecharacteristicsanddifferencesbetweenemotionaldesignofGUI

andemotionaldesignforspeechinteraction.Then,basedonthepeople-to-peoplecommunication

andinteraction,thepaperproposesissuesthatshouldbeconsideredbyintelligentspeechinte-

ractioninemotionaldesign.CitingtheexampleofthemusicchannelofXiaoduzaijia,thepa
