摘要

长兴岛临港工业区位于辽东半岛西侧中部，渤海东岸，总面积502平方公里，由长兴岛、西中岛、凤鸣岛、交流岛、骆驼岛五个岛屿组成，其中长兴岛本岛面积252.5平方公里，是中国第五大岛，长江以北第一大岛。?

围绕辽宁省战略布局，大连长兴岛临港工业区发展思路和目标是：按照“超常规、快速度、高质量”的总体要求，充分利用区位和临港优势，承接国际国内特别是东北产业升级转移，重点发展船舶制造、石油化工、装备制造、高新技术、现代服务和港口物流产业，建成东北重要临港产业集聚区、大连东北亚国际航运中心重要组合港、大连拉近和辐射东北腹地的重要节点城市。?

到2020年，地区国民生产总值达到1300亿元，地方财政一般预算收入120亿元，港口吞吐量1亿吨，累计实际使用外资300亿美元，内资3000亿元人民币，成为全省改革创新先行区、对外开放先导区、临港工业集聚区、生态建设示范区、和谐宜居新城区，常住人口达到100万人。?
