TherewereminordisruptionstotrafficduringtheincidentwhenthecowgotneartheroadatBelmontandSummerstreets.Therewasalsominordamagecausedtosomelawnsinthearea.

Officersandfarmstaffwereabletosafelycapturethecowafterabouttwo-and-a-halfhourstowardthebackofBeaverCemeteryusingaropelassoandfood.Thecowwasguidedontoatrailerandsafelyreturnedtothefarm.

“Iamhappytoreportthatourofficerswereabletohelpsafelycapturethecowwithoutinjurytothemselvesortheanimal,”ChiefJenkinssaid.
