(AE)examinationormonitoringofstructures,suchaspressure

1.2ThebasicfunctionsofanAEmonitoringsystemareto

detect,locate,andclassifyemissionsources.Othermethodsof

nondestructivetesting(NDT)maybeusedtofurtherevaluate

thesigni?canceofacousticemissionsources.
