TheBerlinU-Bahn(shortforUntergrundbahn,meaningundergroundrailway)isarapidtransit
railwayinBerlin,thecapitalcityofGermany,andamajorpartofthecityspublictransport
system.TogetherwiththeS-Bahn,anetworkofsuburbantrainlines,itservesasthemainmeans
oftransportinthecapital.
Openedin1902,theU-Bahnserves170stations[1]spreadacrosstenlines,withatotaltrack
