一、语法

（一）定语从句概述

在复合句中，修饰某一名词或代词的从句叫作定语从句。被定语从句修饰的名词或代词叫作先行词，引导定语从句的词叫作关系词。

Eg:Acalligrapherisapersonwhopractisestheartofwritingbeautifullywithabrush.

书法家是用毛笔书写优美书法作品的人。

CalligraphyisanartformthatisverypopularinChina.

书法是一种在中国很受欢迎的艺术形式。

（二）关系代词who

who用于指人，在定语从句中作主语或宾语。作主语时不能省略；作宾语时可以省略，也可以用whom替换。

Eg:Thepersonwhopaintedthislandscapeisverytalented.

画这幅山水画的人很有才华。

Theman(who)Imetyesterdayisacalligrapher.

我昨天遇见的那个人是一位书法家。

【注意】who作主语时，从句谓语动词的单复数由先行词决定。

Eg:Thestudentswhoarelearningcalligraphyworkveryhard.
