Abstract: Ob ective T o analyze the developm ent trend of drug usage in ch ildren patientsw ith acute upper respiratory tract
in fect ion, so as to put forw ard a schem e to prom o te rational drug usage. M ethodsT he drug app lication in ch ildren pat ients
w ith acute upper resp iratory tract infection in outpatient and em ergency ofandw ere retrospect ively
invest igated. The m edication u se and the rat iona lity of the clin ica l app lication w ere eva luated and compared. R esu lts In
the 2010 applicat ions, ant iv ira l Ch inese m ed icine utilization rate w as high, and antib iotic u sage, antib io tics un ion utility
rat ios, the in ection of the ant ib io tics utilization rat io were reduced ( P 0. 01) com pared w ith those of 2009. One
ant ibiot ic u sage and the ora l adm inistrat ion antibiot ics proport ion w ere increased ( P 0. 01). The type o f antibiot ic had
been concen trated, and broadspectrum cephalosporin ant ib iot ic drugs ratio w as higher. Conc lu sion M ed ication usage
structure in the hospital is m o re reasonable. T reatm ent indications of antibiotics is not so clear. The rat iona l ant ibiot ics
usage needs to be further standard ized.
