However, the classroom is still the main channel and front of the school education,the progress of students and the quality of teaching are influenced by classroom teaching. The effective classroom teaching is the teachers’ goal, but seen from the actual conditions of English teaching, it’s easy to find that students feel dissatisfied,most of them treat English study as a heavy burden and learn English passively. Because many students still face the problem of how to improve their English and how to develop a real interest in English. Some say that they force themselves to concentrate on the subject and have done a lot of exercises, hoping to raise their English level. Yet, after many failures, they lose their confidence and even lose interest in this subject. The main reason is that the teachers don’t pay attention to the students’ interest in English during the teaching process.?So the main responsibility of a teacher is to improve the students’ enthusiasm of learning, especially their interest.Because Einstein once said?“Interest is the best teacher.” If the students have no interest,they will not want to learn, or even dislike learning,so there is no doubt that they cannot learn well. In this thesis, it will state several ways to arouse middle school students interest in English teaching. If so,the students will not feel that learning is a burden if they are interested in studying. They will put their hearts into learning actively. Arousing the interest of the students is the key to learn English well. Learning interest can promote the students to throw themselves into studying enthusiastically.
