Everything looked like a dream for him. Instead of being indulged in a great joy, he was a little upset. He came to the county from his plain village again. But this time, it was absolutely different. He was just a countryside boy when he came here before, and was full of timid and terrified feelings. With the help of several years’ active campus life, he gradually inosculated himself including his thought, mood, and life style with the county, turning himself into a complete county citizen. Village became misty for him, and sometimes it was only a background of the life stage. Only during summer holidays or winter holidays, could he appreciate its spice.When he was infatuated with the county and couldn’t live without it, the county abandoned him mercilessly and sent him back. He didn’t gain the admission to university after graduating from high school. Therefore, he had to locate in the land which he was even a little unfamiliar with. The pain for a man who had a great ambition like him was imaginable and understandable. But it was not the so called destiny manipulates the man. Our country had been in hard times at present; not every citizen’s desire and demands could be satisfied.If every aspect of the society had been perfect and healthy, it was sure to guide such youth rightly to recognize the relationship between his personal future and the state benefit. We could look back to the solution of such social problems during 1950s and early 1960s in our country. To our disappointment, there existed such persons as Ma Zhansheng and Gao Minglou in reality. For personal gain, sometimes they hit the people who were wandering around the crossing, which made them feel more pessimistic about life, while sometimes, they lifted them to the downwind ship, which made people feel overjoyed but all at sea
