T he corn leaves have th e d ifferen t inf luen ces on th e grow th of th e five HAB s algae. A. tamarense, C. m arine andH. akashiw o d is tin ct ly inh ib ited, in contrast, P. g lobosa w as accelerated. H ow ever, P. donghaiense trea- ted w ith th e corn leaves grew w ell as th e sam e as con trol d id.
