活塞杆负荷反向过程的作用:保持润滑,防止连杆轴承、十字头销损坏。 Often times, the term rod reversal is thought to be a bad thing by some persons that don’t quite understand it. Rod reversal is necessary in order to prevent pin and bushing damage in the connecting rod or crosshead. The following slides should familiarize you with rod reversal. 润滑油充满上述2轴承间隙中。 When gas is being compressed on the outer end of the cylinder, the pressure in the cylinder is working on the surface area of the piston creating a force in the opposite direction of piston movement. At the same time, there is a counteracting force pushing the piston toward the outer end of the cylinder. These two forces working against each other are putting the piston rod in a compressive load. When the rod is in compression, the crosshead pin is contacting one side of the crosshead bushing and all of the clearance is on the opposite side. At this point, oil is filling the clearance area. By looking at the small end of the connecting rod, you can see that the crosshead pin is also contacting one side of the connecting rod bushing.
