[Abstract] Objective discuss the curative effect of PKP combined with salmon calcitonin to treat osteoporosis with vertebral compression fractures.methods review and analyse 25 cases of osteoporosis with vertebral compression fractures with treatment by PKP combined with salmon calcitonin from Feb,2008 to May,2010. Preoperative,postoperative in 2days, VAS-score of postoperative in 10months;the change of kyphotic deformity in Cobb’angle and an improved situation of BMD.Results Preoperative of 25 patients 、postoperative in 2days、VAS score of postoperative in 10months、Cobb’angle and better situation of BMD,comparative difference in pre-postoperative is meaningful on statistic.Case the bone cement of one of the patients has leaked to intervertebral disk,but after conservative treat-ments , it shows no backache. Conclusion the treatment of PKP combined with salmon calcitonin on osteoporosis with vertebral compression fractures can stabilize and recover the spine quickly,increase bone density, improve the life of patients, and have a good effect in the long-term. [Key words] PKP ; Salmon calcitonin ; Osteoporosis ; Vertebral compression fractures 骨质疏松伴椎体压缩骨折（osteoporoticvertebral compressionfraacture,OVCF）是最常见的骨质疏松症并发症，是老年人常见病。长期卧床的患者废用进一步加快骨丢失，增加了新发骨折风险和 带来其他严重的医疗问题。Lieberman[1]等报道65岁以上患脊柱骨质疏 松性压缩骨折妇女,其死亡率高于年龄匹配组妇女约30%.因此，早期活动对于骨质疏松性椎体压缩性骨折的恢复是一个很重要因素[2-3]。如何快速改善患者活动功能、提高骨密度、保证远期效果成为OVCF治疗的主要问题。我院自 2008 年 2月～2010 年5月，应用PKP 联合鲑鱼降钙素治疗骨质疏松症伴椎体压缩性骨折 25 例，效果理想。 1 临床资料 1.1 一般资料 本组 25
