Abstract Quasiconformal mappings have recently come to paly a active part in the theory of analytic functions of one complex variableßand the mappings by heights are pop- ular in the theory of complex analytic, so it is very important to work at the study of quasiconformal mappings by using the mappings by heights. The dissertation consists of three chapters: Chapter 1: Preface. A brief introduction of quasiconformal mappings and the main results in the dissertation. Chapter 2: Quasiconformal mappings and the estimations of the dilatations on the Beuring-Ahlfors extansion. In this chapter , we introduce the fare of the scientific researches on the estimations of the dilatations on the Beuring-Ahlfors extension, and we get a way to calculate the extrema of the dilatations on the Beuring-Ahlfors extan- sion.At the same time , I pose a problem of the the estimations of the dilatations on the Beuring-Ahlfors extension.
