73 73 73 CISG I Research on Right of Rescission of Contract for the Delivery of Goods by Instalments Specified in CISG Abstract The contract for the delivery of goods by instalments is very common in international trade. As the international trade varies due to regional, legal, and cultural differences, there are many uncertainties and risks in contracts for the delivery of goods by instalments, which leads to frequent breaches of contracts. The Nations Convention on Contracts of International Sales of Goods (CISG for short) specifies the right of rescission in case of breaches of contracts for the delivery of goods by instalments in Articile 73.Based on Article 73, this paper first details the difinition of the contract for the delivery of goods by instalments, introduces the history of Article 73, analyzes Article 73 in details, and describes the application scenarios of this article by discussing some related cases. Then, this paper comprehensively details the methods of rescission of contracts for the delivery of goods by instalments. Finally, this paper presents amendment proposals to Article 73 and possible improvement proposals to related laws in China. This paper also provides links to related cases and other articles related to right of rescission of contracts for the delivery of goods by instalments in the CISG.
