Abstract :In view of our present understanding of the three common stem cells ，the main research area
will continue to focus on the research and application of adult stem cells． Research on the storage and
maintenance of embryonic stem cells following a breakthrough in research on umbilical cord blood stem
cells can produce resources of individual adult regeneration． In the future ，applications of induced pluri-
potent stem cells in batch will create artificial tissues ，organs and blood vessels as useful materials for
regenerative medicine．
