Abstract ：Temperature control of mass concrete is the most important research and control program in mass concrete con原
struction, and the control of temperature before casting is the key of the programme. Based on the research of the temperature
control for precasting of concrete immersed channel sections for HZMB proj ect ，the paper presents the general concept and
detailed measures for temperature control. The research results show that the risk of cracking in concrete can be reduced by ef原
fective control of concrete temperature before casting to lower the temperature disparity between the inside and outside of a
concrete element and the temperature disparity between a structure and the environment.
