WorldJ．Acu-moxi．Vo1．18，No．4，December，2008 ·9’ ACUPUNCTURE COM BINED W ITH LANGUAGE TRAINING FoR TREAT- MENT oF MoToR APHASIA CAUSED BY ISCHEM ICAPoPLEXY 针刺配合语言训练治疗脑梗死致运动性失语的临床研究 LUOWei—ping(罗卫平) HUANGHong-ying(黄红缨) ZHUJie-yan(朱洁艳) DepartmentofNeurologyandRehabilitation，TCM HospitalofZhongshanCity，GuangdongProvince， Zhongshan528400，China(广东省中山市中医院神经内科 ·康复科中山528400，中国) ABSTRACT Objective Toobservetherapeuticeffectsofacupuncturecombinedwithlanguagetrainingona- phasiainducedby ischemicapoplexyandinvestigate themechanisms．Methods 60 patientswererandomly dividedintoatreatmentgrouptreatedbyacupunctureassociatedwithlanguage trainingandacontrolgroup treatedbysimple language training．TOngue—acupuncturewasapplied as the main therapy，and language trainingincludedspeechorgantraining，mouth-shapeandvoicetraining，spokenlanguageexpressiontraining andpracticalcommunicationabilitytraining．AccordingtoAphasiaBatteryofChinese (ABC)，languageex- aminationevaluationwasmade，andeventrelatedpotential(P300)wasdetectedbeforeandaftertreatment． Results Thetherapeuticeffectinthetreatmentgroupwassignificantlybetterthanthatinthecontrolgroup (P 0．05)，andthescoresofABC itemsincludinginformationcontent，speechfluency，repetition，vocabula- rydenomination，colornaming，responsedenomination，confirmationornegation，acoustic recognitionand carrying outinstruction in the treatmentgroup were obviously higher than those in the controlgroup (P0．05)．Afteronecourseoftreatment，thelatenciesofN2andP3wavesinP3D0were significantlyshort- enedandtheamplitudeofP3wassignificantly elevated inthetreatmentgroup，comparedwiththose inthe controlgroup (P 0．05)．Conclusion Acupuncture combinedwithlanguage trainingprovidedremarkable therapeuticeffectsintreatingcerebralinfarction—inducedmotoraphasia，and itwasbetterthansimple lan- guagetraining．The resultsofenhancing ofthe ABC scoresincluding informationcontent,speechfluency， repetition，vocabularydenomination，col
