 中文摘要 孙葆田作为桐城派后劲，其对桐城派的继承与超越，值得我们重视。身处晚 清风起云涌、动荡不安的社会中，孙葆田继承了儒家经世致用的思想，但其经世 致用的主张却不同于洋务派以及其后的维新派。他虽然推崇儒家正统之学，但对 当时“师夷长技以制夷”以及“中学为体，西学为用”的社会变革却颇为不满。 于是，他从传统儒家之仁民爱物的思想出发，主张推行王道，施行仁政。其经世 致用的思想，在学术以及文学方面也有所体现。在学术上，他通过对当时学术界 弊病的分析，提出了兼采汉宋。在文学上，他则提出了“文以载道”，为文须有益 于当世的主张。孙葆田的古文在风格方面，则突破了桐城派境界狭小的缺点，体 现出恢弘大气的史家之文的特点。总之，孙葆田其出于桐城而又不囿于桐城，为 桐城派的发展做出了重要贡献。 关键词：孙葆田；桐城派；经世致用 ABSTRACT Sun Baotian as tongcheng school staying power, its inheritance and transcendence of tongcheng school, worthy of our attention. The governing thought, also reflected in the academic and literature.he based on the analysis of the academic ills, and puts forward the han and song writing carry doctrine on, that is must be beneficial to present claims. Remains on the field of ancient prose in terms of style, it broke the tongcheng school realm of small faults, reflects the characteristics of the grand historian of the article. Anyhow, Sun Baotian its out of tongcheng and not secure in tongcheng, made an important contribution for the development of tongcheng school.
