库恩与吴文俊反辉格史观的比较研究.pdfVIP

8 4 2009 12 ( ) : 郝新鸿 ( 南京大学 哲学系, 江苏 南京 210093) : 库恩在科学史的研究中反对辉格史的研究方法, 主张用反辉格史的原则 展示 一门科学的 历史整体性我国著名数学家吴文俊对中国数学史的研究也反映出这种反辉格史的原则和方法, 两者 可以说是殊途同归但通过比较分析可发现, 吴文俊突破西方框架内的反辉格史观的应用使得科学范式 的 时间相继扩展到地域传统的空间独立, 他的数学机械化理论也为库恩的范式不可通约性找到了方 法论上突破的可能同时, 吴文俊所体现出的科学史研究思想还对库恩反辉格史观进行了反思和完善, 对 于解读并反思库恩的科学史观具有启发性和思想价值 : 库恩; 吴文俊; 反辉格史; 范式 Abstract :Thomas Kuhn objected to the methodology used by Whig in the study of the histo y of science, and advocat- ed p inciples cont a y to Whigs to demonst ate the wholeness of the histo y in scientif ic study. In the study of the Chi- nese Histo y of Mathematics, Chinas well-known mathemat ician Wu Wenjun also adopted p inciples and methods of this ant-i Whigview . Both a e aligned in p inciples in thei specific ci cumstances. Howeve , by compa ative analy- sis, we can see that Wu b oke th ough the ange of applications of the ant-i Whigview of histo y in the Weste n f amewo k, and extended the scientif ic pa adigm f om continuity in t imeto include the egional t aditional indepen- dence in space. His theo y of mathemat ical mechanizat ion may also p esent a methodology fo b eaking th ough Kuhn s pa adigm incommensu ability. Meanwhile, Wus study of the histo y of science demonst ates his eflections on and pe fection of Kuhns ant-i Whigview of histo y.
