成都中医药大学硕士学位论文 ABSTRACT The phenomenon regarding constitution is one important manifestation of human life activity closely linked to disease and health. It is becoming a tendency in the area of medical research to focus on the study of human-being himself. The term TCM Constitution was brought up in the 1970s, followed by remarkable achievement thereafter. This article summarizes the achievement in this area from the aspects of academic study, clinical study and experimental development, discusses the problems in its development, and offers possible solutions to these problems.
