ABSTRACT
Withthedevelopmentofmodernsociety,manycomplexsystemsappearinthe
fieldsofengineering,socialeconomyandbiologicalenvironment,Howtocontrol
complexsystems?Howtoanalyzeanddesignforcomplicatedinformationsystems?
Howtoimprovethedynamicalbehaviorofthecomplexsystems?Allofthemare
theimportanttopicsfacingthemodemscienceandtechnology.Ontheonehand,the
developmentsofmodemscienceandtechnologyprovidethesolidtheoriesfoundation
andgoodconditionsforthefurtherresearchoftheinterconnectedsystems.Onthe
otherhand,thecomplexity,activity,uncertainytandcurseofdimensionalityofthe
interconnectedsystems,maketheexistingtheoriesofinterconnectedsystemsbased
onmathematicsmodelbeindifficulty.Therefore,weneedtoinquiryintothenew
method,newpathtostudyit.Justbasedonthisidea,thispaperstudiesmainlythe
robustdecentralizedcontrolforaclassoflinearuncertaininterconnectedsystems
withtime-varyingdelays.Thecorrespondingresultsshowthattheproposalofthe
decentralizedcontrolcansimplifylargelytheanalysisanddesignforinterconnected
systems.
Thepapercanbesummarizedasfollowing:
First,theproblemofrobustdecentralizedcontrolisinvestigatedforaclassof
uncertaininterconnectedlinearsystemswithtime-varyingdelaysinstate,control
inputandinterconnection.ByconductingproperLyapunovuniversalfunction,using
LMIsandvectorinequalities,asufficientconditionisderivedtostabilizethe
closed-loopsystems.BasedontheexistenceoftheresultsofLMIs,atypeoflinear
controllerisdeveloped.Finally,anumericalexampleispresentedtoillustratethe
resultsgiveninthispaperandthesimulationshowsthatthemethodisveryeffective.
Second,anobserver-basedrobustdecentralizedcontrolproblemisinvestigated
foraclassofuncertaininterconnectedlinearsystemswithtime-varyingdelaysinstate,
