Lanzho Instit te of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Lanzho 730000, China) Abstract Ba Sr TiO ( BST) nanopowders were prepared by microwave-hydrothermal method. The resultant precipitates were 0. 0. 3 characterized by XRD, TEM and SEM techniques. The influence of temperature, time and solution concentration on the crystalline size and morphology of BST was studied. The optimal condition of microwave-hydrothermal method for the preparation of BST nanopowders was obtained, which is the time ranges from 20 to 30min, the temperature at 19 and the concentration of precursor at 0. 16mol L. The well- dispersed and narrow distributed BST nanopowder with average particle size of 60nm has been prepared at this optimal condition. Key words microwave-hydrotherma
