Through elem ental analys is, IR and H-NMR, its composition and structurew ere confirm ed, and its therm al property were characterizedw ith TGA. The resu lts show ed that the 1, 10-phenanthroline acts as a b identate ligand and carboxylic groups in the com plex coord inate to the rare earth ions in the form of a bridge ormonoden- tate ligand.
