Analysis of Pressure Distribution in System “Men’s – Underwear”(第一部分) CHENG Zhe (程 哲) (武汉纺织大学 服装学院) Abstract: Studying of pressure comfort in men’s underwear is very helpful for design improving and development of this kind of clothes. Ddistributions of pressure in system “body-uunderwear” and its influence on the push-up effect around the human body is worthy of discussion and analysis. This exploration is devoted to the characteristic of knitting materials used in underwear. Reasonable ease of men’s underwear waistband should be 0 to -35%, in hipline is within 0 to -40%, and fabric push-up effect is a maximum of 2.9cm in front, a maximum of 1.75cm in back. Key Words: men’s underwear, knitted materials, ease, pressure comfort, push-up, 0 Introductions Men’s underwear does not only exist for wrapping the bodies, as the underwear, wearing comfort requirements are increasing. The improvement of the pressure comfort of the men’s underwear by researches and design has to be investigated [1]. In men’s underwear, classify seamless and non-seamless products, currently the non-seamless ones are the most usual. But the products with multi-structure lines are stylish and have functional significance. The fabric’s characteristic, the underwear style and the underwear pressure distribution are indivisible [2].
