If an enterprise wants to gain the upper side in the market competition, it must not only provide high quality products and good service but also strengthen project cost, reduce unnecessary spending and increase business efficiency. The construction project cost control is the use of certain methods and means for the formation of the whole process of the project consumed a variety of fees to manage the process. We make cost-effective control through two aspects of construction project cost control. It is content and prerequisite. Further more we combine construction project cost control with our existing business problems and propose effective countermeasures. In addition, Chinas accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) has been many years, and the protection of domestic construction companies will also be provided for the gradual repeal. In the face of the competition from foreign construction companies with huge capital backing, how Chinas construction enterprises can survive and develop better is an unavoidable issue. In this regard, this paper also proposes corresponding countermeasures. Through in-depth study of these issues, with a view to provide a useful reference to our business managers, we will be able to enhance the competitiveness of our enterprises.
