Methods: The plasma levels of miR-106a from 60 healthy controls and 103 patients with CRC measured by real-time reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (real time-PCR), meanwhile, the survive analysis used by Kaplan-Meier. Results: 1. The plasma levels of miR-106a were markedly higher in CRC group than in controls group and were associated with lymph node metastasis (P=0.01). 2. Patients were in line with surgical treatment conditions and the plasma levels of miR-106a were detected in the seventh day after surgical treatment. There was a significant difference between patients who before treatment and after treatment (P=0.01). The plasma levels of miR-106a are higher in patients with lymph node metastasis after treatment than their levels in the seventh day after surgical treatment. 3. The CRC patients are grouped by the relative plasma levels of miR-106a, the incidence of cancer recurrence of the groups of higher plasma levels of miR-106a is evidence higher than the incidence of the group of lower level within 3 years after surgery. 4.
