The results showed that the yield of seed cotton and that of lint cotton among species produced significant differences. The maximum yield of seed cotton reached 3 509.7 kg/hm2 2 and the minimum value was 1 153.0 kg/hm ，indicating a difference，2 356.7 kg/hm2 2 , and for lint production the maximum yield reached 1 410.8 kg/hm and the minimum yield was 475.3 kg/hm2 2 , indicating a difference of 935.5 kg/hm . The fiber quality among varieties presented also significant differences. Comprehensive analysis of production and quality targets indicated, varieties 6-3,6-20 of 27 species carry good quality of fiber and have good yield characters available for the cotton product.
