Mooc is coming Abstract: Mooca is the abbreviated of the words: Massive Open Online Courses. It is easy to be understood that Mooc means there has massive open courses on line to learner. the appearing of Mooc is not only gives a chance to realize the new teaching method which teaching and learning on line, but also offers a chance to different college’s teachers and learners to obtain more knowledge from different university all over the world. What is more, one of main advantages about this method of learning and teaching is that learners can obtain what they want to know whenever and wherever. In 21century, internet plays an important role in education, under the background of internet technology as the main educational tool in schools’ teaching and learning, Mooc is a typical example of the development of internet technology in education, and it also a new breakthrough of computer-assisted instruction. Nowadays, the computer-assisted instruction plays an important role in all countries’ education, and there are amount of literature about multimedia teaching and learning on the web, such as China?National?Knowledge?Infrastructure and Wanfang?Database. All of these literature and thesis can be divided in two different types: the advantage of computer-assisted instruction, and the disadvantage of computer-assisted instruction. With the development of Mooc in foreign, it also begins to come into our country and appears in high school education. This paper aims to analyze the situation about Mooc in Chinese high school education and discuss the advantage and disadvantage of the development of Mooc in our country.
