行强度、出行方式、出行 目的及 出行时间分布等方面对 中小城市居 民出行特征进行分析 ．并在此基础上 ．结合 中小城市居民
出行意愿、路 网状况、未来的环境改善 以及可持续发展 ，从优先发展公共交通 、重视 自行车交通 以及控制摩托车发展等方
面，提 出中小城市交通发展的几点对策，可为 中小城 市交通规 划、城 市交通改善与管理提供 思路

Abstract：Resident trip survey is the basic gistof traffic planning，construction and management．
Based on the survey data of Xinyi City in 2006，the characteristics of the resident trip of travel
trips，mode，purpose and time distribution are analyzed．And combining with the travel wish of the
resident， road network condition of medium or small cities， future environment improvement and
sustainable development of the urban transport， some transport deve1opment countermeasures are put
forward from the aspects of the bus priority，importance of the bicycle transportation and motorcycle
development control，which can provide basisfor the traffic planning consturction and managementof
