People used to put attention on the steel output, but losing sight of distribute channel construction. In fact, a well-designed, steadily performed, efficient and effective supply chain is indispensable to healthy performance of downstream industries as well as steel iron industry itself. Starting from that, the thesis selects stainless steel as the research subject, finds out stainless steel supply chain structure, peculiarities and obstructs, and makes the conclusion that stainless steel supply chain belongs to effective supply chain, and is suit for quick response strategy. Based on that, the thesis puts forward that partnership should be established between distributors and dealers for them to carry on joint demand forecasting to reduce bull- effect, and inventory should be jointly managed.
