It’s steel single-deck, Cargo area and cabin local equipped with double bottom, Cargo area for double shell structure starboard side ，single-propeller, alone rudder, longitudinal and transverse fixed framework, welding type, stern-engine ship, mainly engaged in Shipping coal, iron ore, coal and other kinds of bulk goods , navigating zones for Type II. The design process includes two parts: the general part and the structure part. The first part includes analysis with specification and model ship, determination of proposed ship’s principal dimensions and displacement , weight and gravity center estimate. The ship’s lines plan and general arrangement plan are developed accordind to imitation transformation. The second part includes the calculation of the hull structure, basic structural plan , midship section plan and typical node plan . In summing, the length between perpendicular of this ship is95.0meters , the design draft is 5.95 meters ,and the design displancement is 5696.258 tons,all of which satisfy with the requirements of the specification and the relevant norms . ［Key words］Offshore ore carrier ; Th
