Methods A fulltime nursing post for the intrahospital transport of critically ill patients was set up from July 2012 to July 2013. The clinical data of 1190 critically ill patients who underwent intrahospital transport were retrospectively analyzed. Results The average transport time for each patient was 23.5 ±11.2 minutes. No adverse events during transportation happened. Conclusion Intrahospital transport is an important link in the ， ， ， rescue of critically ill patients. Standard transport procedure fulltime nursing post full assessment and preparation close monitoring and right handover are key points for the success transport of critically ill patients. 【Key words
