School of Geosciences and Info-physics, Central South University, Changsha 410083, China) Abstract: A formal description model was proposed based on multi-parameter, including, identity, dynamic, dimension, shape and topological relationship in the between before and after changes. On this basis, the hierarchical inference framework of a classification of change was proposed, and each of the 9 basic changes in single entity was subdivided and formal description was given. Finally, the geo-spatial data reporting was used as an example to illustrate its application mode. The hierarchical classification method in this paper solves the questions of “what be reported” in change information reporting.
