The non- stationary characters of earthquake motion of intensity andfrequency are considered, and the soil-structure interaction system is analysed by equivalent linearization method.The evolutionary spectra and time-variant cross-correlation function of the response for the soil-structure interaction system are obtained,and one utility method of calculation and its process are also given.The numerical example showsthat the inelastic response of the soi-l structure interaction system is affected significantly by the characters of the frequency non-stationarity of seismic groundmotion.
