Multidrug resistance is a problem arising in the process of cancer treatment, when tumor cells expose to certain chemotherapy drugs, they will generate drug resistance, and other chemotherapy drugs with similar structure also produce cross-resistance. More and more Chinese medicine has shown the potentiality of reversing the multidrug resistance, so more and more attention is being paid on the research of its effect mechanism. This article will provide an overview of extensive mechanisms of Chinese medicine anti-tumor multidrug resistance, take gastric cancer as an example for detailed illustration, and finally provide some new ideas about the research of Chinese medicine anti-tumor multidrug resistance.
