Unit3 Language in use 教学内容：Unit3 Language in use 课型：Revision and application 教学目标： 2、能按类别整理单词或词组，提高单词学习效率。 3、能够听懂和正确运用原因、时间、结果、目的状语从句。 4、能够运用所学的知识，谈论自己心目中的英雄人物。 教学重难点： 掌握状语从句的用法。 能够运用所学的知识，谈论自己心目中的英雄人物。 教学准备： 本节课型为Revision and application，根据新课标的要求，结合教材和学生特点，主要采用任务型互动式进行教学，结合情景法、交际法、游戏等教学方法实施课堂活动，开启学生思维，通过一系列有条理的教学活动，引导学生自主探究学习和与他人互动合作学习，让学生体验愉快学习。本节课所需教具及资料：幻灯、图片等。 教学过程： 教学步骤 教 师 活 动 学 生 活 动 活 动 目 的 Leading-in （8’） 1. Warming-up Play a song Hero by Mariah Carey for the students to listen. 2.Play a game. Let the students read the following sentences as quickly as they can. Enjoy a song Hero by Mariah Carey. Read the following sentences as quickly as they can. Choose the fastest one. 通过歌曲Hero激发学生的学习兴趣，并借歌曲重现本单元的主课题Heroes. 通过游戏“比谁快”复习本单元的语法句子，提高了学生反复朗读的兴趣，读的速度越块越好，使其达到一定的熟练程度。 2. While-task(17’)and Post-task (19’) 1. Practice Present pictures and ask Ss to complete the sentences using because, so, or so that. 2 Grammar Explain the use of because, so, so that one by one. 3 Exercises ①Activity One. Ask the students to complete the passage with because, so or so that. ②Activity Two. Ask the students to join the sentences with because, so or so that. 4. Story time.Knowledge Extension ①Revise some main experiences of the heroes that Ss learnt in Unit 1 and Unit 2. Finish Activity 3,4 and 5 to know them better. ②Introduce a writer who writes brave heroes, such as the Spiderman and etc. Play the tape for the students to do some listening to know more about the writer Stan Lee. Activity 6. ③Speaking. Ask the students to give a talk about their favourite cartoon heroes or heroines. ④Reading comprehension. Ask them to finish Activity 7 and learn the spirit of the main character’s. Call back the answers in class. ⑤Around the world. Ask the Ss to read the passage and complete the information card. Check the answers and organize the Ss to read the passage together once. Ss complete the sentences using because, so, or so that orally. Take notes. ①Finish Activity On
