Furthermore, the functional architecture of MES which is oriented to manufacturing enterprises of China is put forward. With taking production management model as the core, the functional architecture proposed carves up the functional structure of manufacturing execution hierarchy, as well as defined the main function and the information flow transferring between these functions. Finally, an application of the proposed functional architecture is provided.
