After investigation, it is concluded that pastureland has its predominated advantagewithin all kindsof land use inthe northern ectone, that is, to re construct the land use structure, the essentialway isto return the cultivated landto the pastureland. Thenby employing the actual circumstance of Wuchuan County, the concrete project of reconstruction the land use structure, which has leading significance inbuilding the ecological environment of China∃ swestern region, is put forward. It shouldtake 30 yearsor so, as suggested inthe paper, to reconstruct the land use structure in Wuchuan County. And it is arguedthat the cultivatedhillside landwith a slopeof morethan 11degreesbe re turned to pastureland andthosewith a slope between 6 degrees and 11degrees should have been returnedby the endof 2010.
