Rapid solidification of Al91Ni7 Y2 alloy can result in the forma- tion of a composite consisting of part of amorphous crystals and part of crystals In the composite. structure, Al nanocrystals are distributed uniformly in amorphous matrix.As the content of Y and Ni increases, the as-melt spun microstructure consists of a fully amorphous structure.
