编者的话
我们的学生为什么英语阅读能力难于提高,在诸多因素中词语的理解是一个重要原因,尤其是一词多义障碍了他们对句子和篇章的理解。高考中阅读理解的难度在逐年加大,新教材词汇教学的任务很重,一词多义的教学不可能都在课堂上进行,现实迫切需要我们编写一词多义方面的校本教材。
编写这种校本教材没有现成的资料可参考,编写者必须创造性地工作。国家级课题“英语模块教学法研究”部分成员和我校高中部英语老师迎难而上,花大量业余时间编写了校本教材《高中英语阅读理解步步高》(词汇与阅读)。该教材的显著特点是与现行教材同步,把高中英语1-8册每个单元的重点词汇编写成一词多义理解题,学生可在老师的指导下以课外阅读为主,自学为主,有序提高自己的阅读理解能力。
该校本教材1-8册的编者依次是:范明添,裴莹,徐申,左卫军,林斌,国佳,卜岚和刘杏林。全书由特级教师易仁荣和教研组长是则尧老师主持编写,刘洋老师对书稿的校对和审阅作了大量工作。在此,我们对以上所有老师深表感谢。
