附件2. JHUSOM制定的访问学者培训要求及计划 1.Clinical Research Fellow for Visiting The purpose of this Fellowship will be to develop knowledge and skills in the conduct of clinical research. The area of expertise will be predetermined based on the interests and skills of the fellow, as well as the assigned mentor. Activities: Work with an interdisciplinary research team on a study focused on the disease area predetermined This may include participating in an on-going research project as part of the work of this team, as well as develop an independent project. Develop a proposal for a research project to be conducted after returning to Sun Yat-sen and prepare a grant application for funding for this project. Participate in the development of manuscripts for publication addressing the projects above. Assist in the development of an IRB submission for a clinical research project to learn more about human subjects protection and ethical issues in clinical research. Participate in series of online or classroom lectures to learn more about the ethic and integrity in clinical research. Participate in department grand round, journal club and other relevant seminars Fellowship Developmental Objectives: By the end of the fellowship, the fellow will be able to: Serve as a leader or mentored leader of an interdisciplinary research team Describe an ethical framework and practices to guide research with human subjects. Prepare data-based manuscripts for publication along with other research team members. Prepare a grant application for a research study addressing chronic disease management. Mentors: Will be identified by JHU based on his/her interest, availability and expertise. Fellows should meet regularly and frequently (weekly or bi-weekly) with the mentor. A mentorship committee will be created and will meet with the applicant quarterly to review the fellow’s progress.
