The re su lts showed that the d ifference in the seed quality wa s large, bu t the heigh t grow th ru le s in the seeding stage were accordan t. The grow th fa stigium wa s between June m id st and O ctober incep tion. There wa s abundan t variation between the fou r Cornus s ilson iana W anager p rovenance s or w ith in one of the se p rovenance s, and the cho ice poten tial wa s rem arkab le. The Yudu p rove nance wa s better than the others in the grow th characters in the seed ling stage.
