The properties of different kinds of fiber filter materials were analyzed and compared; meanwhile, combining with the design of the filter in a water works, filters adopting fiber filter materials were compared with those adopting traditional filter materials from aspects of operating parameters, floor space, con- struction cost and so on. The conclusion of the discussion indicated the rationality and superiority of the new type of fiber filter material, which might be provided as references for technical people to select filter material.
