China Price Association ，Beij ing 100837 Abstract: Obj ective: To give a scientific defination of pharmacy service fee and to describe the connotation of it. Method: To get the message of national experience in implementing in the dispensing fees through literature survey and web search, and to summarize the definition of pharmaceutical service fee in china, combined with the reforming obj ectives of public hospitals. Results and Conclusions: Pharmaceutical services fee is the fee charged in hospital pharmacies and community pharmacies during pharmacists provide drugs and pharmaceutical services. It includes pharmacies operating costs and the basic pharmaceutical service value of pharmacists. There is practical significance in the establishing of pharmaceutical service fee in health reform background .
