通感论文：A Cognitive Study of Synaesthesia 【中文摘要】通感,作为一种传统的修辞手法,是指感觉的混合,是指使用一种感官印象的词语去描述其他感官印象。通感原先是修辞学界常用的术语,以往的研究侧重于把通感作为一种修辞手段来进行研究。Fauconnier的概念整合理论的问世,为人们研究各种修辞现象提供了新思路和新方法。有不少学者从认知的角度对通感作过一些研究,并取得一些成果,然而这些研究都还存在不够系统和深入的问题。本文主要从认知的角度对通感现象进行研究。从不同于传统的修辞学的角度,尝试借助于概念隐喻理论对于隐喻的研究方法,从认知的角度运用概念整合理论对通感进行研究,解释其意义构建的过程,揭示通感的认知过程。根据Fauconnier的概念整合理论,意义构建过程是一个动态的概念合成过程,其涉及的两个或多个感觉分别构成了不同的输入空间。输入空间Ⅰ和输入空间Ⅱ通过跨空间映射,将两个输入空间有选择地投射到第三个空间,即投射到层创结构的整合空间。输入空间中的成分和和结构有选择地投射到整合空间,整合空间的层创结构经过组合、完善和扩展,形成一定程度上区别于原有输入空间的概念结构,产生新的意义。本文通过对通感的认知研究,揭示了通感意义构建过程是一个动态的概念合成过程,其本质是人类的一种认知现象,是一种特殊的隐喻,是人类理解周围世界和形成概念的一种认知工具。通感的形成具有自己客观的心理基础和生理基础。通感的发生基于人类的体验并通过联想而实现。通感的应用和理解与人类文化有密切联系,并且在社会生活各方面都有着广泛的应用。因此,对于通感的认知研究不仅具有理论价值,还有重要的社会意义。 【英文摘要】Synaesthesia, traditionally a term of rhetoric, refers to the mixing of sensations in which terms relating to one kind sense-impression are used to describe sense-impression of other kinds. Originally, synaesthesia is a term used in the field of rhetoric and the former researches study it as a rhetorical method. Fauconnier抯 Conceptual Blending Theory (CBT) provides a new way for the research of figures of speech. Some scholars study synaesthesia from the perspective of cognitive linguistics and have obtained great achievements. Even though, theses researches are not systematic and profound.This paper is a study of synaesthesia from the perspective of cognition. It probes into the dynamic meaning construction process of synaesthesia within the framework of Conceptual Blending Theory. According to Conceptual Blending Theory proposed by Fauconnier, construction of meaning is a dynamic conceptual blending process, in which the input mental spaces are perceptual. Elements or structures in input spaceⅠand input spaceⅡare selectively projected onto the blended space, which has its own emergent structure.
