听力考试中的 语法现象 重视语法知识 听力中有些试题是专门为测试语法知识的。 要求在短时间内正确、迅速地理解句子的意 思。最基本的语法现象，如时态、语态、虚 拟语气、比较级、最高级、否定式和说话人 的语气等。  虚拟语气 M：Prof. Kennedy has been very busy this semester. As far as I know, he works until midnight every day. W：I wouldn’t have troubled him so much if I had known he was so busy. Q：What do we learn from the conversation? 答案：The woman regrets having taken up so much of the Professor’s time. 表面肯定，实际否定的题 (虚拟语气)---常见且迷惑性大, 因此要熟悉常用的虚拟语法形式: M: John is a smart boy. W: Yes, if he had studied harder, he could have got better grades. Q: What does the woman mean? 答案是 John did not get better grades because he did not study hard enough. 　 ２. 否定结构的基本类型 1. 一般否定 She cannot afford a computer right now. 2. 特指否定 The paint is still wet. Be sure not to touch it. 3. 全部否定 None of us will take part in the race. ３. 双重否定: 句子中两次出现否定，成为否定之否定，结果是肯定的。 例如: 1) No students will pursue nuclear science without a solid grasp of mathematics. 2) At the meeting yesterday, there were no one who didn’t have his opinion expressed. 部分否定 1) Everybody doesn’t like to play basketball. = Not everybody likes to play basketball. 2) All the students didn’t go to the Games. e.g. M. I won’t ever go there again. W. I can’t promise I won’t return, but I’ll try not to. Q: Which is true? A) They both will go back. B) The man will not return. C) The man promise to go back. D) The man won’t try to avoid the place. e.g. M. I won’t ever go there again. W. I can’t promise I won’t return, but I’ll try not to. Q: Which is true? A) They both will go back. D) The man won’t try to avoid the place.  4. 间接否定(含蓄否定) 该题型会大量出现, 也是较难的一类题。即: 表面上看并不是否定，但意义上却包含否定的意思。 e.g. M: Let’s go to the movies after dinner. W: Well, I’ll go if you really want me to, but I’m a little bit tired. Q: What do we learn from the conversation?
